Privacy Policy

Effective May 4, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what SmartLotIQ collects, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. SmartLotIQ is a multi-tenant business-to-business platform; most personal information is processed on behalf of a Customer (the HOA, condo association, apartment owner, or hotel that purchased the Service), and that Customer is the controller/business of that information.

What we collect

Account & identity information; Property & resident roster; vehicle & pass data (license plates, scan history); enforcement & violation evidence; communications; billing data (full card numbers handled by Stripe — we never see them); device & usage data; cookies and similar technologies; and information from authorized third-party integrations.

How we use it

To operate the Service, secure it, support you, bill you, comply with the law, and improve the product. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run ad-tech trackers on the Service or on resident-facing flows.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and opt out of automated profiling. To exercise rights, email privacy@smartlotiq.com. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a CPRA opt-out.

Sub-processors and data transfers

We use a small number of vetted vendors (AWS, Replit, Stripe, Twilio, Clerk, Sentry, AI model providers, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, Resend/SendGrid, QuickBooks Online). For transfers from the EEA/UK/Switzerland to the U.S., we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

SMS / text messaging

When a resident, guest, or staff member provides a mobile phone number through the Service, that phone number may be used to deliver parking-related text messages — guest pass delivery, arrival alerts at the gate, violation notices, and gatehouse-to-resident contact. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by Property and is typically transactional (only when a pass is issued, a guest arrives, or a violation occurs). Reply STOP to any SmartLotIQ message to opt out at any time, or Reply HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, consent timestamps, or message content with third parties for marketing or any other purpose, and we do not authorize any sub-processor to do so. Twilio Inc. processes message bodies and phone numbers on our behalf solely to deliver the messages.
