How a consumer opts in
- The consumer navigates to smartlotiq.com/resident-signup from the community's resident portal or directly from the public web site.
- The consumer enters their name, email, mobile phone number, property, and unit. The disclosure language shown above the phone field (reproduced verbatim above) is visible before the submit button is enabled.
- The consumer presses Submit. The number is enrolled only for transactional parking notifications tied to that specific community.
- On the first message, the consumer receives "Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." Replying STOP at any time immediately unsubscribes the number from all SmartLotIQ messages on that long code.
STOP / HELP keyword behavior
- STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE — Consumer is unsubscribed and receives: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
- HELP, INFO — Consumer receives: "Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply." plus links to this page and /sms-terms.
- START, UNSTOP, YES — Re-enrolls a previously unsubscribed number and confirms: "SmartLotIQ: You're subscribed to parking notifications. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
